Danville Area connected for four home runs with a stiff wind blowing out and defeated the Carl Sandburg College baseball team 18-5 on Wednesday afternoon at the Hungate Baseball/Softball Complex.

The teams exchanged tallies in the first inning, and then the Jaguars grabbed the lead for good with a five-run second, highlighted by Garrett Siebert’s grand slam. DACC struck for five-run frames in the fifth and seventh as well.
